Blogging... how hard can it be?
One might think, since I have a degree in writing, I would have blogged before... but one would be wrong. So please forgive my fumbling attempts to start this blog.
Back in May, I (Amanda) started The Blue Goose Shop, a little country store on Etsy, with my mom Tami. Since then, Grandma Norma has joined the team, and we've spent the past four months building our inventory of primitive stitchery and home decor. We've had our first three sales, started a Facebook page, and are looking to add to the shop quilts, table runners, wreaths... all those fun things that we already make for our own homes.
I recently joined a great team of other craft/primitives/country decor fans called the Old Farmhouse Gathering. And after seeing just how many of these women have a blog for their Etsy shops, I realized that I really am behind the times.
So as I said, please bear with me as I struggle over these next couple of weeks to get this blog up on its feet. If you have any suggestions for ways that I can improve it, please let me know!
I hope to soon add my Etsy Mini, as well as photos of some of the one-of-a-kind, primitive items we sell at The Blue Goose Shop.
In the mean time, check us out at TheBlueGooseShop.Etsy.com or at www.Facebook.com/TheBlueGooseShop. You can also shoot us an email at TheBlueGooseShop@ymail.com.
God Bless,
Amanda
